Yes! The whole assigning them to the same room has made Julian both more and less wary. He's got no problems with Victor as a rule; they get along well enough and that excluding camp's dumping them in the same bed (which weirds him out more than Victor can imagine) it's just like being back at the school, to be honest.

The thing is, it also freaks him out a bit because for a while there, his room was his "safe" space, or at least somewhere where he didn't feel like he had to pretend to be "okay". He's always kind of "on", in the sense that he is pretending that he's functioning! He's okay! He totally is not always pretending that he is coping when he really, really isn't and just wants to shut everything off until he's ready to deal with it again. In a way, this is good for him because hiding in his room is not a good psychological coping mechanism by any stretch of the imagination. But it's also bad because he's not ready for being on all the time, so he's probably prone to just shutting down at some points and just staring at the ceiling for hours at a time.

It's probably unsettling as fuck to poor Vic, to be honest.
